The present invention relates more particularly to steamer accessories for heating and / or steaming food contained in a container.
The present invention also relates to apparatus for heating and / or steaming food, comprising a container associated with a steam generating device forming such a steamer accessory.
It is known from US 2014/0103023 an apparatus comprising a steam generating accessory used for heating and / or steaming food contained in a container. This steam generating accessory includes a steam generator having a steam generating chamber and a water tank supplying water to the steam generating chamber. The steam production chamber is connected to steam distribution outlets in a lower part of the steam generator above the container.
A disadvantage of this device lies in the filling of the water tank of the steam generator, which must be carried out carefully because of the presence of the steam generator.
An object of the present invention is to provide a steamer accessory used with a container for heating and / or cooking food with steam, wherein the filling of the water tank is facilitated.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a steamer accessory used with a container for heating and / or cooking food with steam, which has an economical construction.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a steamer accessory used with a container for heating and / or cooking food with steam, which has good performance of steam production.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an electric steam cooker for heating and / or cooking steam foods having a container and a steamer accessory, wherein the filling of the water tank is facilitated.

These objects are achieved with a steamer accessory for heating and / or steaming food contained in a container, the steamer accessory comprising a water tank communicating with the outside through a filling port, the accessory steam cooker comprising a steam generator having a steam production chamber connected to at least one steam distribution outlet in a lower part of the steam generator, the water tank communicating with the steam production chamber through an inlet for supplying water, since the steam generating chamber communicates with at least one steam discharge outlet disposed higher than the water supply inlet, that the steam production chamber is confined above of the steam outlet (s), and that the or each steam outlet outlet communicates via a duct with the one or more outlet (s) for steam distribution. A particularly economical construction steam generator can thus be obtained. This steam generator has good steam production performance. The filling of the water tank is facilitated.
Advantageously then, the steam production chamber communicates with the outlet (s) for evacuation of steam by a steam expansion chamber disposed above the steam production chamber. This arrangement facilitates the flow of steam.
Advantageously then, a separating side wall is arranged between the filling orifice and the vapor expansion chamber, and the separating side wall extends lower than the outlet (s) for evacuation of steam. This arrangement simplifies the construction of the steamer accessory.
Advantageously then, the separating side wall extends lower than the water supply inlet. This arrangement allows better confinement of the steam.

The electric steam cooker 101 schematically illustrated in FIG. 1 is an apparatus for heating and / or steaming food, having a container 102 for containing the foods to be heated and / or cooked, and a lid 103 provided for resting on the container 102. For this purpose, the lid 103 has a lower face 107 adapted to be disposed on the container 102.
The lid 103 includes a steamer accessory 104 for heating and / or steaming food contained in the container 102.
More particularly in the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 3, the lid 103 forms a steamer accessory 104 for heating and / or steaming food contained in the container 102. Alternatively, the lid 103 may include in particular a support device, if desired removable, provided to carry the steamer accessory 104, and to rest on the container 102. The steamer accessory 104 includes a steam generator 105 and a water tank 106. The water reservoir 106 communicates with the outside through a fill port 160. The steam generator 105 has a steam generation chamber 120. The water reservoir 106 supplies water to the steam generation chamber 120 by gravity. The steam production chamber 120 comprises a heating device 150 for transforming the water present in the steam production chamber 120 into steam. In the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3, the heating device 150 comprises a heating stud 151. In a variant, the heating device 150 may in particular comprise a heating element arranged under a heat diffusion plate and / or in a heat diffusion plate forming at least a part of the bottom of the heating chamber. steam production 120.
The steam production chamber 120 is connected to at least one steam distribution outlet 115 formed in a lower part 110 of the steam generator 105. More particularly, the ducts 125 are formed in the annular wall 124. Two groups of three ducts 125 are disposed on either side of the heating stud 151. The ducts 125 are vertical. Alternatively the conduits 125 may be descending without necessarily being vertical. Preferably the conduits 125 are devoid of baffles. In other words, the ducts 125 are descending continuously, without necessarily being straight.
More particularly, the steam generator 105 has a lower annular bearing surface 109 provided to rest on the container 102.
The steam generator 105 has a bottom wall 113 in which is / are formed (s) the steam distribution outlet (s) 115. The steam production chamber 120 is arranged in the steam generator 105 away from the bottom wall 113, which allows greater freedom in the position of the steam distribution outlets 115.
The steam generator 105 has at least one vent 118 placing the lower portion 110 of the steam generator 105 in communication with an outer portion 111 of the steam generator 105 extending above the lower portion 110. Said at least one vent 118 is surrounded by the lower annular bearing surface 109.
The steam generator 105 has an outer side wall 112. The bottom 108 of the water tank 106 connects the outer side wall 112 to the annular wall 124. The steam production chamber 120 is arranged in the steam generator 105 at a distance of the outer side wall 112. Said at least one vent 118 opens into the outer side wall 112.
In the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3, the steam generator 105 has several vents 118 placing the lower part 110 of the steam generator 105 in communication with the outside part 111 of the steam generator 105. The lower part 110 forms the bottom wall 113. The outer portion 111 forms the outer side wall 112. Two groups of three vents 118 are disposed on either side of the water tank 106 surrounding the steam production chamber 120. The cooker accessory vapor 104 has an upper wall 116 advantageously made of transparent or translucent material. The upper wall 116 is assembled with the outer side wall 112, for example by clipping, gluing, overmoulding, screwing or welding. The upper wall 116 forms part of the water reservoir 106. The separating side wall 180 is derived from the upper wall 116. The upper wall 116 forms the upper part of the vapor expansion chamber 170.
The electric steamer 101 shown in FIG. 1 and the steamer accessory 104 illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3 operate and are used in the following manner. The user has the steamer accessory 104 on the container 102 after placing the food in the container 102. The user fills the water tank 106 by the filling port 160.
